Our client success stories
Rod and Kim were moving to the UK from the US, and buying a brand new house from a high-quality developer. They instructed Heather to take on the task of creating a home for them and their teenage daughter, from a beautiful (and empty!) house.
Heather firstly had window treatments made and installed quickly, plus a bespoke carpet runner on the marble stairs.
Bespoke seating followed in the large open-plan lounge, dining room and kitchen, and a specially-made dining table in American Walnut to work with the doors in the house.
Bedrooms were made comfortable and luxurious, with upholstered headboards, quilted bed throws and cushions, as well as chairs or sofas for relaxing.
A bespoke dressing table in gloss finish was created for Kim, with a padded bench seat in velvet for her to sit and prepare for her busy day. A dressing table and desk for Zoe along with a sofa, a heap of cushions and an over-sized and quirky headboard. Noticeboards for her favourite things to be pinned up were instantly covered!
A bespoke rug in the hall with a glass table welcome you, and the dining room now has silk curtains, a beautiful embroidered table-runner and re-upholstered chair seats to bring it all together.
Throughout the house Heather used a palette of cool neutrals as a base, with accent colours in different areas of the house that worked together yet had their own personality. Rod and Kim’s artworks were taken into account and the colours used enhanced these.
